Take Fear by the hand, and Go.

Fear is a big factor that comes up when contemplating big change. I get it, it’s completely normal to feel like you’ve missed your chance, it’s too late, or change is too hard.
.
I’m here to say I’m a firm believer that it’s absolutely never too late to make big changes, and to begin again and again. Otherwise, you run the risk of living a life that feels inauthentic to you.
.
Change can be frightening! I get how big fear of change can feel, how frozen it can make us. Whew – that fear story can be so noisy in our head!
.

At the core, though, underneath the voice that’s telling us to pull the covers over our head and hide, we have to choose: do we let fear freeze us, and keep us from what we want or do we take fear by the hand and go?
.
Obviously, I vote for the latter. : )

Start by finding more time to focus on your vision for your life. My favorite way to do this is to begin to say more NO to commitments and set — and uphold!! — stricter boundaries around your time. For my chronic yes’ers this can feel daunting, so my quick tip for you: Always always always pause before committing your time. Tell everyone who asks for your time that you’ll have to consult your schedule and get back.
.
What I love about this tip is that it really helps those who say “yes” as a habit or automatic reflex, those who are always trying to make scheduling work no matter what, to take a beat and think.
.
Once you’ve got that moment to pause, consider if the request actually works and is in alignment for you and your schedule.
.
You don’t actually have to say yes to everything! Every yes is an automatic no to something else. So all your Yes’s — all the time you give — let’s have it make sense for you, and not just for the receiver!
.
This is one of my favorite ways to help clients claw back time to work on their priorities, and I share it with you to help you find time to identify and set a bigger vision for your life.

With that time, use THIS worksheet, and these tips of mine for getting into designing a life — all the parts of it — that feels true to you and supports what you want most and who you want to be.
.
And send me an email for more support as needed! I love to hear from you about your journey, where you are on the path. I hope this post helps you to keep moving forward and designing a life that works for YOU. Remember, it’s always a good time — and especially now, the 2-year anniversary of C19 changing how we live and work — to consider what more is possible.
